Mark L. Simpson began his career as a police officer, then later as a detective in a high crime area in Virginia. He investigated most major felonies, and as a result of spent a lot of time in the courtroom. Mark developed a keen interest in trial, and as a result, decided to go to law school. After graduating law school, Mark worked as an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina. During that period, he handled a high volume of cases and developed a passion for prosecuting cases involving crime victims. Mark left the District Attorney’s Office to become a Charlotte personal injury attorney. Since leaving the prosecutor’s office, he has used his experience to represent children and families against corporations, insurance companies and careless drivers. For the last 25 years, Mark has litigated cases as a plaintiff’s injury lawyer in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia in both state and federal court.
