We obtained an arbitration award for a husband and wife who were involved in a violent, head-on collision. The wife sustained bilateral femur fractures which required multiple surgeries. The husband was not seriously injured but made a claim for loss of consortium. After rejecting an offer to settle the case for $477,000, Attorney Michael Chandler took the case to arbitration and received a combined award of $1,100,000. (Anderson v.
